PreS-Gr 2 -These three titles use colorful, flat, digital graphic pictures to show large pieces of equipment in action. Facts are included in boxes in the lower portions of the pages, in a listing at the end of the book, and within the basic texts, which are narrated by the operators. The individuals have no interaction with other people as their day and machine are described. Primary colors are prominent. The books' large size makes them useful for classrooms and befits their subjects. Young children will enjoy just looking at the pictures and discussing what they know and love about these vehicles.
